About Dr Brendan Ryan
Dr Ryan is a bariatric surgeon with over 15 years of experience in the field of obesity surgery. He has performed over 5000 weight loss operations. He specialises in Gastric Sleeve, Gastric Bypass and Revisional Bariatric surgery. He also has an interest in Anti-reflux, Hiatal Hernia and Gallbladder surgery.Dr Ryan has rooms in Westmead and Campbelltown and operates privately at Westmead Private, Lakeview Private and Camden Surgical Hospitals.
Dr Ryan has been awarded Surgeon of Excellence in Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery. Sydney Bariatric Clinic has proudly been recognized as a International Centre of Excellence in Bariatric Surgery also.
Dr Ryan contributes to the National Bariatric Registry and is part of the Research team of Sydney Bariatric Clinic which presents regularly at National and International Bariatric Meetings. He is committed to maintaining best practices in weight loss surgery.
